Data and information are at the centre of how any organisation operates and utilising data effectively can give organisations the edge over competitors. Data is only useful when translated into usable insights that can aid decision making.
This programme provides an introductory context to people analytics and the way in which we can demystify data to draw usable insights. We explore the rationale for data, the benefits, the difference between data and information and different data collection methods. We assess the main types of data that people professionals collect and record to inform decision making.
Using live case studies, you will learn how to analyse data using a range of approaches and then how to interpret the results. Being able to communicate the data effectively to stakeholders through data visualisation and storytelling aids the creation of usable insights to inform decision making.
